Question - Is N.E.O. Soccer a premier program?
Answer – Yes. N.E.O. has participated in the OYSAN's State premier league the past 5 years, and is currently the largest member with over 20 teams in that league. N.E.O. is also double carded under US Club, and will participate with our "select" program teams in the "CASA" premier league in the spring with approx. 5-8 teams. N.E.O. participates in all tournaments within the "premier" divisions.
Question - We heard N.E.O. only trains younger groups, then they must move on to get further training. Is this true?
Answer – False. In the early years, we began with younger groups This was a market that was under-served in Northeast Ohio. Our plan all along was to build infrastructure as our club matured into the older ages. We are at a unique point, in that now our groups are starting to mature, and we are supporting their development 100%. With the addition of our "select" program and experienced coaching, along with the ability to play in all OYSAN or US Club events, we are committed to following these groups all the way through the older ages. As we are now seeing our players enter High school and participate in ODP events, we are confident they are receiving the training it takes to play at the highest level possible.
Question - What tournaments does N.E.O participate in?
Answer - For our top groups, we will participate in both the OYSAN and US Club State cups, as well as the Continental Cup, Season finale tournaments hosted by Internationals or CASA and the Northern Ohio Cup. We will be applying for other top tournaments for other selected groups. We will also participate with various groups in other local and special format events, such as Kick it 3v3, PSA 5v5, Mentor 7v7 and the National indoor championships, among others.
Question – What type of uniforms does the club wear?
Answer – We recently changed the club over to the Under-Armour brand of uniforms, with a bold new lettering design. As of now, we believe we are the only club with this brand. It is a brand that is loved by the kids, and encompasses the attitude that is N.E.O. Soccer. We have both white and red tops, with black shorts and socks. White, red, and black are always present in our apparel.
